I feel able to post this

because I had quite a bad stammer as a youngster. I was actually born tongue tied, and had to have it cut. I can still stammer, when under severe stress, or rather bizarrely if I over rehearse what I'm going to say: queuing for things or preparing to make a speech are especially prone to make me stammer.
