Housing Update

Once upon a time in a Galaxy far far away...... the search for a new house began. I was surprised and somewhat worried by the number of houses available to buy in our restricted target area. Why are so many people trying to leave the area, and why are prices staying so buoyant? Having viewed all the candidates it has become clear, these are homes designed for oompah lumpas, in that the rooms are all significantly smaller than our current house has. Another reason why I do not want to move. However the Holy Grail was found - a bigger house within 5 minutes walk of the school, great period features, original fireplaces, cornices ets etc. It even represents a bargain, as it is on the market for substantially less than it is really worth. Therein lies the rub - it is priced for a quick sale. So the race is on to sell our house quickly now, not that I was trying to drag the process out or anything.
